Long-Term Consideration in Decision-Making

Decisions consider long-term impact.

In Tsm’syen law, decisions affecting laxyuup, people, or relationships are evaluated beyond immediate outcomes. Lawful decision-making requires consideration of lasting consequences.

Long-term consideration includes:

  • effects on future generations,
  • cumulative impacts on land and resources,
  • continuity of rights and responsibilities,
  • preservation of balance and relationships over time.

Decisions made for short-term gain that create lasting harm are contrary to ayaawx. Responsibility requires foresight, restraint, and care.

Lawful decisions strengthen continuity. Failure to consider long-term impact undermines trust, authority, and the stability of law.
