Authority and Demonstrated Stewardship Category: Tsm’syen Law Page status: Core Principle

Law Authority exists only with demonstrated stewardship.

Explanation Authority is not permanent, automatic, or assumed. It is earned and maintained through ongoing care, responsibility, and lawful conduct. Stewardship must be visible, consistent, and accountable.

Standard Past conduct informs present standing. Failure of stewardship weakens or removes authority. Claims of authority without stewardship lack legitimacy.

Effect Demonstrated stewardship sustains trust and governance. Loss of stewardship results in loss of standing, not punishment. Law remains grounded in care, not control.
